We are currently working with a large technology provider to design their Transfer Agency platform. Our role is to define the current, interim and target operating model states in relation to products/proposition, legal entities, organisational design, location model, supplier model and interfaces with third party vendors / systems.
We have used our Capability Model to identify any gaps in the platform. This capability model has then been used to frame the business requirements and provide the bottom up detail, in terms of detailed processes and services, which would be required to support that business. The Capability Model can then be used to inform volume projections which can in turn provide clarity to the Organisation Design.
We have gathered insightful data from other providers in our Capability Model and are able to provide a view on how a provider compares to their peers in terms of capability maturity.

We were asked to assist with reducing operational costs in a large FTSE 100 financial services business and spent time carrying out due diligence on the organisation, understanding their costs and current processes. At the outset we identified their administration processes were lengthy and had not been adapted for years. Using our proportionate process optimisation framework, we identified that more than 50% of the activities within the processes were wasteful, creating capacity for the business so those resources could focus on other value add activities. We optimised the function, increasing productivity significantly and streamlining business processes resulting in capacity release of 70%.

We are currently working with a Wealth Manager to provide change management and retirement SME expertise, to assist in launching an online SIPP, to further develop their online proposition.
We are leading the delivery of the Programme, writing requirements / user stories, leading testing, providing market insight in terms of the competitive landscape and ensuring the business is ready and operational to service this new product offering.
In addition, we are helping the Wealth Manager with their change and development maturity. We have led a number of Agile coaching sessions and now have a number of scrum masters embedded in the teams, helping move forward IT developments.
We work closely with the technology provider, who are providing the underlying technology to service the new online SIPP.
